Crimea is real

Turns out Crimea, the continent in the Gamecube Fire Emblem, actually is a real place. It's that small island in the Black Sea that is part of Ukraine. And it turns out the Crimean War was a real war where Russia and Bulgaria fought France, Britain, Sardinia, and the Ottoman. The French side won the conflict.

I wonder if the game makers intended this...
